Vividas and Xlantic Media launch ?Song of Songs? film via the Internet

May 11, 2007 -- DMN Newswire--2007-5-11--Xlantic Media and Vividas, the full-screen video streaming company, today announced the launch of ?Song of Songs?, the first major documentary video series exploring love, romantic relationships, and the changing landscape of commitment.  This release makes ?Song of Songs? one of the first independent feature films to be streamed at DVD-quality levels across the globe. In addition, ?Song of Songs? was recently awarded a 2007 MySpace MyEmmy for outstanding achievement in arts, lifestyle, and culture programming for Broadband.

After an inspiring interview with his grandparents, who have been married for more than 66 years, Chris Brickler, director/composer, went on a journey seeking answers to some of the most basic, yet complex questions surrounding relationships:

ˇ       Why do some of us fall so deeply in love?

ˇ       Why is managing conflict in relationships so difficult?

ˇ       What will be the impact of female independence on long term relationships and marriage?

ˇ       Are life-long monogamous relationships still possible in today's world?  

In this exploration, Brickler interviewed hundreds of people from many walks of life and different parts of the world.  He interviewed several notable experts in the field of love and relationships, including Dr. Harville Hendrix, founder of Imago Relationships International and Oprah show veteran, and Dr. Helen Fisher, a prominent anthropologist and author of ?Why We Love?.  In addition, Brickler worked with several close friends and fellow independent musicians to create the ?Song of Songs? soundtrack which is widely available on iTunes, Rhapsody, AOL Music, etc.
