Terrostar Awarded Hispanic Small Business of the Year

On Friday January 27th, 2012, the Greater Quad Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GQCHCC) held its Annual Banquet Meeting to recognize area companies both Hispanic-owned and not that have exhibited extraordinary commitment to their staff, their clients and to the Quad Cities community as a whole. Terrostar was honored with the 2011 Hispanic Small Business of the Year award.
In 2011, Terrostars business grew 35%. The organization donated over $35,000 in services to area non-profits and hired two additional employees. President and CEO, Thomas Terronez, states that he is both honored and proud of the fact that his company has come so far since its inception in 1999. This is a huge accomplishment - one that wouldnt have been possible without the help of my talented staff and our amazing client base, he added.
The Greater Quad Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce was founded in October 2008.
