Rhythm Announces Availability of Flow Advertising Platform for Tablet & Mobile

December 12, 2012 --

Mountain View, CA (PRWEB) December 12, 2012

Rhythm, the leader in premium mobile video, today announced the availability of Flow, the advertising platform for premium tablet & mobile publishers who want to sell high-value brand advertising directly within elegant, engaging experiences.

Flow provides publishers direct sales teams with control of the same immersive advertising placements and brand effectiveness engine available to Rhythms direct sales team. Flow delivers better brand advertising and higher CPMs. Content creators, owners, and publishers want to provide the best experience for their audiences and advertisers alike. We designed Flow with a sharp focus on elegant, immersive user experiences and more effective brand advertising to help publishers build real, significant tablet and mobile businesses, said Benjamin Dorr, VP of Corporate and Business Development for Rhythm.

Leading media properties such as Eonline from NBCUniversal, PrePlay, and the TV.com app from CBS Interactive have embraced Flow for generating higher tablet and mobile revenue through direct-sold, brand advertising. We are using Flow for our new Eonline iPhone and Android apps because it provides unique ad placements integrated into our product and aligns our direct sales efforts with a mobile platform that enables premium, high value executions across video, rich media and display, said John Najarian, EVP and GM Digital Media and Business Development for NBCUniversal.

Flow provides access to the following premium advertising placements and more from its trafficking interface:

  •     Flow Interactive In-Stream placements allow fully customizable video overlays with more than 20 integrated interactivity options. Unlike other video ad units, Flow provides multiple branded interactivity hot spots seamlessly in-stream without changing the video player.
  •     Flow Embedded Full Page placements allow for swipe-able, magazine-like experiences with MRAID and ORMMA rich media support. Unlike other full page ad units, the Embedded Full Page placement does not have to take over the screen and can exist seamlessly within content while intelligent caching helps balance the user experience.
  •     Flow In-Banner Video placements have patent-pending adaptive bit-rate support along with completion rate measurement. Unlike other In-Banner Video units, Flow placements require no additional rich media fees and provide advertisers with the same measurement and interactivity of the Flow Interactive In-Stream placement.
  •     Flow Interstitial Video placements allow publishers to use video in-between articles, photos, game levels, or at the start of an application with the same integrated interactivity options available In-Stream. Unlike other interstitial video units that generally run inside games, Rhythm designed its placement in coordination with premium publishers, and publishers can manage caching of the video based on their own consumer experience requirements.

Additionally, Flow natively supports the option for publishers to complement their direct sales efforts with a Rhythm premium sales partnership. Content creators and publishers can learn more about using Flow to deliver better brand advertising at http://www.rhythmnewmedia.com/flow.
