Durham's King's Daughters Inn Hosts Third Annual Valentine's Day Sparkling Wine Tasting

Durhams luxury Inn, The Kings Daughters Inn, will host their third annual Valentines Day Sparkling Wine Tasting on Thursday, February 14th from 5:30 PM 7:30 PM in the Dining Room. The Inn has partnered with Mutual Distributing Company to provide five sparkling wines that will be carefully paired with canapés that compliment each selection. Ranging from dry and crisp to sweet, the wines include Roederer Estate Brut from California that will be paired with Manchego and hazelnut boules de fromage with sesame water crackers, the Gran Bach Cava from Spain will be paired with baked Brie with a fruit and nut compote on a toasted French baguette, Szigeti Grüner Vletliner from Austria will be paired with Granny Smith apples dusted with salt and white pepper topped with a dried cranberry, Mollydooker Miss Molly from Australia will be paired with roast beef slices with a Colmans mustard dipping sauce and Toad Hollow Risque from France will end the evening with a vanilla bean custard with fresh berries.
