President Obama said he is determined to "make things better" between police and communities following a meeting with Ferguson officials, activists and civil rights leaders on Monday. The president called for $75 million in federal spending on 50,000 body cameras for local police officers to record community interactions. The announcement comes a week after a grand jury's decision not to charge the white Ferguson police officer who fatally shot unarmed 18-year-old Michael Brown, who was black.
